Job Description: Objective: The Medical Assistant supports physicians, Nurse Practitioners, RNs, and staff in coordinating the needs of patients. Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Pay range for this position is $21.00-$24.00 per hour. - Ensure patient satisfaction by providing excellent patients services. Addresses patients with a compassionate, friendly and caring attitude. - Rooms patients, accurately collect and records patients’ vital statistics, allergies, medications and concerns. - Prepares exam rooms, stocks and maintains supplies and equipment, keeping the rooms neat and clean. - Effectively assists with prescriptions and authorizing drug refill requests. - Triage messages, routes and relays information to staff, providers, and patients in a timely manner. - Maintains detailed notes in patients’ electronic records. - Maintains a high level of confidentiali...
