Deputy Director of Housing Development 2600012A Description EOHLC is seeking a Deputy Director in the Division of Housing Development/M8! AGENCY MISSION: The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) is charged with creating more homes in Massachusetts and lowering housing costs for residents. Formerly known as the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), EOHLC works with municipalities, local housing authorities, non-profit organizations, and development partners to provide affordable housing options, financial assistance, and other support to Massachusetts communities. OVERVIEW OF ROLE (NOT ALL INCLUSIVE): The Secretariat’s mission includes the production or preservation of primarily affordable rental and ownership housing – especially for low- to moderate-income individuals and households – in communities located throughout the state. HLC’s mission includes compliance monitoring of these units for at least 30 years following initial sale or occupancy.
