Description The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Seattle Children's Hospital (SCH) is seeking a candidate for one full-time or part-time faculty position at the rank of Acting Assistant Professor. Acting Assistant Professor appointments are for one year, renewable up to a maximum of four years, consistent with university policy. Acting faculty hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Part-time positions are not eligible for visa sponsorship. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research/scholarship, and service.
