Job description

Position Summary The position provides systems administration services in day-to-day support for NYU’s Enterprise File Transfer University service. The system administrator will have responsibilities in the creation, modification, deployment of file transfers jobs and services as well as end user support. The systems administrator will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution of the file transfer service as well as communication with internal and external teams and vendors. Qualifications: Required Education: Bachelor's Degree: Preferred Education: Master's Degree and/or courses in Computer Science, Scientific Computing and/or Information Systems Required Experience: 2+ years relevant experience with system administration including installation, maintenance, support or an equivalent combination.
