Summary Our 3TL business unit Transport Drivers play a pivotal role at Columbia Distributing. Responsible for moving supplier product, internal 3TL freight, invoices and Point of Sale materials in a timely and safe manner between our branches and satellite docks. Our transport drivers complete all necessary CDL safety and pre-trip checks including fueling. They will verify the load being delivered as well as return any dunnage or pallets to the warehouse and ensure the secure transport of BOL's, invoices and payments from suppliers and accounts. Primary Responsibilities: - Pick up, transport, and deliver 3TL specified loads on delivery trucks & trailers in a safe, timely and professional manner. - Update and Load 3TL Driver PDA's - Handle all Company products according to Company standards - Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others through your job - Complete Safety Pre-Trip Checks according to Government and Company standards - Pick up and securely deliver out of market invoices and customer payments - This role is primarily no-touch freight the majority of the work being drop and hook only, with o...
