Haul Truck Driver - Texas First Rentals Department: Texas First Rentals (TFR): Employment Type: Full Time: Location: TFR - Lancaster: Description: This position is responsible for the safe transportation of industrial and commercial equipment to and from various customer job locations and branch stores. This position involves local or long-distance hauling of equipment and supplies as well as loading, unloading, and securing the equipment. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: - Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values - Collaborate with key internal/external resources - Participate in ongoing self-development Essential Functions: - Delivery and pick up of equipment for customers in a safe and timely, efficient, and courteous manner - Secure construction equipment and other equipment, by means of chaining, strapping, and blocking under the strict accordance and established procedures - Perform pre- and post- vehicle inspection; Inspect truck for defects and safe operating condition, before, during, and after delivery trips - Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to th...
