Description The Pool Maintenance Specialist Trainee will maintain pools at client's and associated facilities for the company. Duties/Responsibilities: - Assists Pool Maintenance Specialist to clean and maintain filled pools and facilities by skimming, vacuuming, and performing chemical treatments. - Periodically empties pools to perform deep cleaning, including brushing and scrubbing walls, floors, and surfaces. - Assists Pool Service Specialist to regularly test pool water for pH; chlorine; presence of bacteria, algae, or contaminants; and other data. - Receives training from the Pool Service Specialist to ensure correct color, chemistry, and clarity of pool water. - Calculates and adds chemical treatments to maintain pH balance, eliminate contaminants, or correct other problems. - Inspects pool and equipment. - Assists Pool Service Specialist to complete and maintain daily logs outlining chemical usage, water quality, repairs, and supplies. - Performs other related duties as assigned.
