Professional Position Details: Northeast Washington Region The Northeast (NE) Washington Region includes the Colville Federally-Recognized Tribal Extension Office and the counties of Ferry, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Spokane, and Stevens, an area characterized by tribal lands, forested landscapes, agricultural valleys, and a mix of rural and urban communities. From forest‑ and rangeland‑based economies in Ferry and Okanogan counties to agricultural and natural resource activities across Stevens and Pend Oreille counties, and from Spokane’s urban center to smaller communities throughout the region, this area presents a broad span of needs and opportunities.
