The Public Health Preparedness Planner II is a highly responsible position reporting to the Public Health Services Manager A - SES for the Florida Department of Health in Lee County (DOH-Lee). The incumbent assists in the development, coordination, and implementation of plans, programs, and systems for public health emergency preparedness; develops Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) compliant training and exercises for the County Health Department; updates and coordinates local plans in response to after-action reports; and reviews external comprehensive emergency management plans (CEMP) for regulatory compliance.
