Sandvik Mining Warehouse Worker/Operator – Pooraka, SA About the Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Worker/ Operator for our Pooraka branch to support and oversee warehouse and distribution operations for both internal and external customers. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a part in coordinating day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and service excellence. You will act as a key point of contact on the floor, supporting team performance while driving best practice processes and continuous improvement. Responsibilities : Liaising with management, suppliers and customers with respect to stores’ operations. Weighing or shipping or receiving or delivery officer incorporating also dispatcher functions; Receiving, receipting, pick, pack and dispatch of spare parts and materials Conduct project work;: Assist with inventory control;: Prepare shipping documentation;: Enter detailed data entry in Sandvik IT systems - SAP Undertake discrepancy investigation and implement corrective actions Conduct stock cycle counting and full stock takes; Implement quality control techniques and procedures.
