Department: 37501 Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center - Acute Care Rehabilitation Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information: M-F 730-1600, 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks, 1 holiday per year. Will cover throughout the whole hospital including surgical, medical, neuro and ICU. Pay Range: $25.30 - $37.95 Major Responsibilities: - Assists the Occupational Therapist in evaluation of the patient's physical, perceptual, cognitive, social, and vocational abilities and the impact on the patient's activities of daily living. Identifies factors affecting patient's physical and psychosocial comfort and attends to these needs. - Implements individual treatment to re-train and teach compensatory techniques for residual disability in activities of daily living, adapted homemaking techniques, bathroom transfers, functional application of mobility skills and, when appropriate, training in adapted work methods.
