5 Main is a 27-bed medical telemetry unit serving young adults to geriatric patients with a variety of medical diagnoses which may require telemetry monitoring. Admitting diagnoses include, but are not limited to: metabolic disorders, stable cardiovascular, renal, GI bleed, substance abuse withdrawal, diabetes, and respiratory conditions. Initial patient placement is first determined by the admitting diagnosis. Accepting New Graduates and Upcoming Graduates! Full-Time - 0.9 FTE/72 Hours Biweekly Day/Night Shift - 0700-1900/1900-0700: Every 3rd Weekend; 1 Major, 1 Minor and 1 Split Holiday Eligible for Sign-On Bonus & Shift Differential General Summary: Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.
