Day shift hours. Pay Range: $24.10 - $36.15 The Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) at Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) in Charlotte, NC is a 29‑bed, high‑acuity unit serving patients recovering from complex surgeries and life‑threatening injuries. As part of the region’s only Level I Trauma Center, the STICU provides advanced care for trauma, acute and emergent general surgery, surgical oncology, liver transplant, and other critically ill populations. For an Exercise Physiologist , this fast‑paced medical center environment offers a unique opportunity to work alongside an interdisciplinary care team supporting patients with complex cardiopulmonary and physiological needs—playing a key role in early mobility, functional recovery, and the transition from critical illness to rehabilitation.
