The Fitness Center Operations Assistant supports the daily operations of the Flagler College Fitness Center to ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students, faculty, and staff. This position plays a key role in facility supervision, customer service, and upholding the standards of Campus Recreation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Provide high-quality student experiences & customer service - Greet and check-in participants - Enforce facility policies and procedures consistently and professionally - Basic knowledge of fitness equipment and safety practices - Monitors facility for safety hazards and cleanliness - Provide basic equipment orientations and assist patrons with general fitness-related questions - Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to professional staff - Completion of daily tasks as assigned - Assist with special events, group fitness classes, or departmental initiatives as needed - Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. - Other duties as assigned Required Experience: - Red Cross CPR/AED Preferred (May be contained after hire) Skill Level: Entry: Student worker positions provide valuable on-campus employment opportunities that...
