Classification Title: Core Rsch Facil Specialist I Job Description: Technical Functions General Lab Operation and Maintenance Functions - Perform basic assays that are part of quality control and sample preparation processes for NGS, including, but not limited to: quantification (QUBIT, FLUOstar Omega BMG, Nanodrop), sizing (TapeStation 4150 and TapeStation 4200), size selection and cleanup (SAGE-ELF, electrophoretic agarose gels, AMPure magnetic bead purification), and DNA fragmentation (Covaris S220 and Covaris E220). - Construct and perform quality assessment of Illumina, PacBio, and Nanopore libraries. - Plan, validate, set up, and execute Illumina MiSeq i100, NovaSeq X Plus, PacBio Revio, and/or Nanopore MinION and PromethION sequencing runs. - Maintain Illumina MiSeq i100, NovaSeq X Plus, PacBio Revio and Nanopore MinION/PromethION instruments and troubleshoot causes of failed runs. - Coordinate repair services for Illumina MiSeq i100, NovaSeq X Plus, PacBio Revio and the Nanopore MinION and PromethION instruments and support equipment (Covaris S220 and Covaris E220). - Perform verification, validation, and troubleshooting of work processes as needed for Illumina, PacBio and...
