The Boeing Company is looking for a Environmental Control Tech B to join our team in Seattle, WA. Independently work from specifications, technical orders, permits and government regulations and written or verbal instructions to accomplish environmental activities to identify, label, collect, transport, temporarily store, prepare-for-shipment for off-site disposal, treat, recycle and repackage hazardous wastes. Maintain a working knowledge of State, local and Federal regulations regarding hazardous waste management. Collect and ensure proper segregation, labeling and documentation of hazardous waste containers and collection areas. Sort and classify hazardous waste and materials which are not readily identified. Check hazardous wastes containers for proper labeling.
