Gloucester, Virginia Overview: An Occupational Therapist will follow appropriate practices to perform evaluations, timely re-evaluations and OASIS assessments, determine OT diagnoses, develop a plan of care with updates at appropriate time points, and perform occupational therapy procedures to aid in restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, improving health, and preventing or limiting permanent physical disability. What you will do: - Performs evaluations, determines OT diagnoses, develops plan of care, and performs occupational therapy procedures to aid in restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, improving health, and preventing or limiting permanent physical disability. Evaluates and assesses the patient timely, based on principles outlined by practice guidelines, evidence based guidelines and regulatory standards (state & organizational policies, requirements of accrediting bodies, etc.) - Completes reassessments including OASIS assessments at appropriate time points to determine level of functioning.
