Description Job Title: Wellness Instructor- Part Time Location: 3935 Sunnyside Drive, Harrisonburg VA 22801 Hours: Part-Time; 10-20 hours biweekly; every other Saturday is required 8AM-12:30PM, hours during the week will rotate. The Wellness Team at Sunnyside Retirement Community is looking for a Part-Time Wellness Instructor to join our dynamic and resident-focused team! The primary responsibilities of the Wellness Instructor are to lead land and aquatic group exercise classes, supervise one-on-one exercise sessions, lifeguard the pool area and assist Wellness Director in creating and implementing wellness programming. Qualifications: - High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. - Experience instructing group/individual land and aquatic exercise preferred. - Knowledge of proper exercising technique according to industry standards as set forth by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). - Ability to assist in developing and implementing senior specific wellness programming. - Ability to process information accurately, make appropriate decisions and take appropri...
