Job description

Perform duties and responsibilities as assigned which would include but are not limited to: endloader, dozer, forklift, phone communications Perform other tasks and duties as required to maintain the outby areas in efficient operating condition. This could include unloading underground supply cars and boxes that have been sent to surface with trash, unloading belt magnet, unloading box that catches material from belt magnet, emptying belt mud box, placing rubber-tired vehicles on charge when brought to surface, as well as other tasks required. Examines and performs fueling and routine servicing, which includes -- perform pre-operational checks of equipment that include: walk around visual inspection, check fluid levels, safety equipment, tires, steering, brakes, etc. Mounts and dismounts equipment by climbing or descending the boarding ladder or steps. Operates equipment by moving levers, or steering-wheel and depressing pedals or operating other controls to stop, start, maintain proper speed, direction and complete task as required. May connect hydraulic hoses, belts, mechanical linkage or power takeoff shaft to provide power. Assist mechanic with repairs and maintenance. May clea...
