Sedgman is looking for an intermediate Mechanical Designer ( Materials Handling) - to join our team in the Vancouver, B.C. office. The ideal incumbent will have robust experience in detailed design and layout of ore handling systems in mining/heavy industrial projects, including storage, crushing, screening, conveying, stockpiling and reclaiming. The role includes creation of detailed layouts, general arrangements, 3D models, and fabrication drawings for these systems, and working with the engineering team to develop solutions which satisfy project requirements. The incumbent will be involved in the entire design process, from concept to detailed design, with a clear focus on material handling - mechanical expertise.
