Hourly Rate Range: $27.35 - $34.78 (plus Super & NFP Salary Packaging) Location: Jambinu (Geraldton) Hey you!: genU is looking for Support Workers who can team up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement. We’re recruiting for multiple permanent (60+ hours per fortnight) and casual roles. Shifts run between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday, with possible overnight shifts. What you’ll do: - Support person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals and working to achieve them - Join customers in the community and do recreational activities - Support customers in accommodation with daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting, medication administration and attending appointments - Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed; and - Administration duties and mandatory reporting What you’ll bring: (You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
