Title: Sr. Accountant B usiness Function: Finance: Location: Nashville, TN The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the accounting, financial reporting and communication of results. The Sr. Accountant will also be responsible for collaborating with the Partner program teams, operational teams and FP&A teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of the financial results. The Sr. Accountant will assist during month end close and create relevant supporting documentation for journal entry preparation and will have opportunities to drive improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting functions. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: · Provide general support during the month-end close process. · Identify and recommend process changes and best practices needed to drive appropriate accounting and/or achieve efficiencies. · Build relationships with business partners and meet regularly to ensure business activities are reflected in the accounting records. · Other responsibilities as directed by management which could include ad hoc journal entry preparation, research and analysis across multiple accounting systems, or other miscellaneous processes to support the business needs...
