Salary/Position Classification: - 16.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) - 10 hours per week - 100% Remote Work Availability: No - Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No Purpose of Position: This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this Research Assistant (Water Treatment & Biomaterials) position. Support ongoing research in water treatment and process engineering. Responsibilities include assisting with membrane operations and fouling studies for water purification, preparing water-salt samples and feed solutions, and processing bioreactor samples. The role also involves transferring samples between facilities and the laboratory, contributing to biomaterials-related projects, and assisting with updates and maintenance of the research group’s website. Candidates should be detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a laboratory environment.
