Clinical Social Worker (C), Adult Clinical Authorization Specialist 260002HN Description The Department of Mental Health (DMH) Northeast Area (NEA) is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, dynamic, and compassionate candidate to serve as a Clinical Social Worker (C) Clinical Service Authorization Specialist (CSAS). The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that DMH policies and procedures are followed in the process of conducting assessments, determining clinical eligibility for DMH services, consulting with Area clinical and administrative leadership, and overseeing the service engagement process both clinically and administratively. Please Note: This position is full-time, 37.5hours per week. The selected candidate will work from 9:00 – 5:00 p.m. Days off are Saturday and Sunday. Duties and Responsibilities (these are a general summary and not all inclusive): - The CSAS interfaces with DMH Site Office staff, primarily the Site Director or Supervisory staff, to discuss availability of DMH services pending the completion of the Clinical Service Authorization process.
