Description The Art History Program of the Department of Art invites applications for a one-year term position at the rank of Professorial Lecturer or Instructor. The sub-field is open. The position is a nine-month term appointment commencing on August 27, 2018. While applicants with a PhD and at least one year of teaching experience beyond the T.A. level will be given preference, ABD candidates also will be considered. Teaching responsibilities for this position will include three courses per semester, typically two introductory (100/200-level) and one intermediate (300) or advanced (400-600) course (the latter combining BA and MA students). Service to the program through student advising and internal committee appointments will be expected. Salary is competitive and dependent upon qualifications and experience.
