Interventional Radiology Tech II - Clear Lake Campus - ( 2601925 ) Description REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Minimum Qualifications: Associates of Applied Science OR Graduate of an accredited radiology program 3+ years of experience Required: American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT-R) Texas Medical Board Certification (MRT): American Heart Association (BLS and PALS) - America Heart Association ACLS and PALS obtained within 6 months of hire JOB DESCRIPTION: The Interventional Radiology Technologist II position is an experienced technologist who completes a variety of routine to the complex body and neuro-interventional procedures including common and unique procedures of high difficulty. This position is a member of the direct patient care team and is fully competent in all aspects of Interventional Radiology. The Interventional Technologist II position serves as a mentor to the Interventional Technologist I and students by utilizing skills and knowledge to help train and educate others.
