Team Lead, Packing/Fabrication

Job description

Directly responsible to the shift Supervisor of Fabrication/Packing. Communicates and collaborates with the other team leads & department supervisors to keep orders on time. Functionally responsible with all members of the fabrication & packing teams concerning day to day fabrication & packing activities. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of the Team Lead are detailed below, but not limited to the following: - Ensure all team members are working safely & report any unsafe conditions or incidents to shift supervisor - Start each shift on time and ensure all team members are present - Ensure all team members are assigned jobs at shift start and throughout the shift - Follow the fabrication and packing WIP reports each shift by due date - Ensure all team members are performing quality checks / inspection as required - Oversee staging of material according to the required location, re stock, Fab, packing, shipping, shunt,etc - Oversee that all team members are following specific instructions according to customer requirements - Ensure accuracy and completeness of Epics entries for all team members, highlighting variances - Ensure QA receives samples for outsi...
