Job Description: Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Grounds Maintenance team! This is a temporary position on our summer grounds crew at the Home Office main campus. This position will include the following job duties: - General grounds work including mowing, trimming, pruning, mulching, watering, and litter removal. - Operating equipment including zero turn mowers and other landscaping equipment. - Irrigation work including fixing and adjusting sprinkler heads, digging and replacing pipe lines, investigating and solving watering issues. - Maintenance of fleet vehicles including washing, detailing and transporting to maintenance appointments. - Equipment maintenance including changing oil, sharpening blades, greasing as necessary. - Shop maintenance including general cleaning, painting, parts acquisition.
