Swift Referrals and Emergencies have an exciting opportunity for another Hospital Clinician to join their team. This position is based at our multidisciplinary referral hospital in Wetherby and offers the opportunity to join our large team of talented veterinary professionals. Reporting to the Lead Hospital Clinician, you will work alongside our specialist-led clinicians to help facilitate excellent client and patient care. This role provides an interesting and diverse mix of first-opinion emergency consultations, diagnostics and surgery, as well as assisting our referral clinicians with complex investigations and inpatient care. We have state of the art technology including a purpose-built intensive care unit, which has all the emergency equipment you should need including point-of-care ultrasonography, oxygen kennels, ICU bays and cots for critical patients, multiparameter monitoring and its own radiography suite. Our extensive in-house laboratory facilities include tests such as coagulation profiles, blood gases, cortisol, CSF cytospin, as well as the usual blood and urinalysis equipment you would expect.
