How you make a difference The Dentist is responsible for providing dental services to inmate patients within the institution they are assigned to, while adhering to the security regulations of the facility. They are required to maintain accurate and timely documentation of their services and provide it to the director or designee to ensure compliance with client contract and proper compensation for services rendered. Additional Details: Hours need to be worked M-F, no weekend coverage needed. Candidates should feel comfortable doing extractions including simple & surgical as well as managing complications (dry sockets, bleeding), as well as incision and draining abscesses, basic restorative work, emergency pain management, radiographic interpretation, as well as managing sever gingivitis/periodontitis. Candidates should also be adept at providing clear documentation of findings and justifications for extractions vs conservative care.
