Job DetailsJob Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73127POSITION PURPOSE: The primary role of the Lead Controls Technician is to provide leadership within the Maintenance department in the areas of electrical, mechanical, and control systems design and documentation. The Lead Controls Technician provide guidance to other Controls Technicians, recommend and implement process improvements, assist maintenance management in project development, planning, and installation, and be a resource to all floor technicians and operations personnel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned. Communicate with maintenance management on a daily basis. Ensure Controls technicians recommendations and work meets Lopez Foods standards. Design and install PLC control systems and operator interfaces on major projects as well as smaller scale projects Design, install, and maintain industrial network backbone and data collection systems Troubleshoot and program industrial robots as well as train others at the appropriate level on operation and troubleshooting procedures Assist maintenance department in maintaining standards on: PLC programming, HMI layouts, electrical drawings, communicat...
