Hourly Rate: $33.00 to $43.00 commensurate with experience Work Location: Chevy Chase, MD: Work Hours: PRN – Flexible Hours Department Highlights: - Patient-Focused Team - Cohesive and Friendly Environment - Supportive and Encouraging Atmosphere A Day in the Life of a CT Technologist: - Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way - Perform x-ray and CT procedures as prescribed by a physician. - Responsible to the Physician Administrator for clinical and other relevant issues. - Responsible to the Administrator through the respective Chief/Senior Technologist and/or Manager. - Perform radiographic and other imaging procedures as prescribed by a physician. Instruct patients as to the proper physiological requirements for the procedure. May be required to prepare and administer barium to patients. Ascertain area of injury or patient’s symptoms to assist the physician in reporting the proper diagnosis. - Must be able to recognize reactions to contrast media and be ready to intervene when necessary by administering CPR. - Assure all necessary consent forms are signed prior to performing examinations.
