Clinical: - Provides consultation services for patients with neurologic conditions who are hospitalized at a Legacy hospital or are referred by their primary physician for outpatient consultation. Consultation services include an active role on the Stroke team providing acute stroke therapies. - Responds promptly in writing to referral source with clinical findings and suggested plan of care. - Provides telephone and telemedicine consultative services for patients with neurologic conditions throughout the region. - Provides continuous coverage for the Neurology services together with the other neurology specialists on the Legacy Hospitals’ Medical Staffs. - Participates in EEG evaluations with other neurologists on the medical staff. - Development of consultative and follow-up outpatient clinics, as requested.
