Wood is recruiting a Civils Operative for SAGE St Fergus Gas Terminal on a staff basis. Candidates must live a daily commutable distance to site. Travel & accommodation is not included. The Civils Operative is responsible for the safe planning, coordination and execution of civil, infrastructure and grounds maintenance activities across the SAGE Gas Terminal. The role combines hands-on practical civil maintenance with planning, permit control and contractor oversight, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in compliance with site standards, CDM requirements and permit-to-work systems. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, organise, raise permits and oversee contractors carrying out civil works including road resurfacing, concrete repairs, slab laying and paving. - Oversee CDM projects including excavations and remedial repairs. - Scope, plan and deliver infrastructure repairs including storm damage and roof leaks. - Liaise with vendors and manage contractors for specialist civil tasks. - Produce and manage permits for civils activities. - Review RAMS to ensure site-specific risks are addressed. - Raise and execute work orders and conduct planned preventative maintenance. - Ma...
