Essential Functions: This position is responsible for: - Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Shehadey Family Foods Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resources and sustain improvement opportunities. - Owning and promoting a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior. - Working in a manner consistent with our Core Values and promoting and exemplifying our Purpose in all activities. - Process payroll for multi-state employees (CA, NV, OR) ensuring accuracy and timeliness - Ensure compliance with all applicable wage and hour laws, including California-specific requirements, Nevada and Oregon - Review and audit payroll data including timekeeping, earnings, deductions, and taxes - Maintain employee payroll records in HRIS/payroll systems, UKG Pro and WFM - Administer garnishments, levies, and child support orders - Coordinate payroll tax filings and ensure proper multi-state tax handling - Reconcile payroll prior to and after processing - Partner with HR on hires, terminations, leaves, and pay changes - Ensure timely and compliant final pay processing in all states. - Respond to employee...
