SUMMARY: - A Core Underwriter will have an assigned agency base and is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, quoting, and declining new and renewal business up to a manual premium of $250K. - Will have designated underwriting goals assigned annually - including top line written premium, revenue, new business hit ratio, renewal retention and overall profitability of written book of business. - Foster the growth of our carrier and broker relationships. - Responsible for maintaining a professional relationship with fellow colleagues and piers while supporting the Workers’ Compensation Division as well as all departments that interact with Underwriting.
