Position Title Rehab Registration Clerk - PRN Olathe Medical Pavilion D: Position Summary / Career Interest: The Rehabilitation Services Registration Clerk greets patients and their families upon entering the Rehabilitation Services department; checks patients in; assures that patients are registered; answers phones in a prompt and courteous manner; maintains accurate referral documentation; schedules patient appointments; when necessary contacts physician offices and insurers for necessary authorizations, certifications, and referrals; problem solves when necessary; closes out outpatient charts; faxes documents to physician offices and insurers; may participate in Performance Improvement activities and processes. Note: The need for this position is for shift coverage during the week, Monday thru Friday working 6:15am-5:15pm approximately 1-2 times each week. Various clinic locations in Olathe, Paola, and Osawatomie.
