Full-time day shift: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm Call, including weekends, will be required after training. Call radius is 30 minutes. Job Description: Under general supervision of the Anesthesia Provider, Anesthesia Technologist Manager or a designee and following established procedures, the Anesthesia Technician 2 assures the quality of service and monitoring for patients undergoing anesthesia in all anesthetizing locations throughout the hospital. Maintains, services, sets up, tests, and troubleshoots equipment and provides technical assistance to the Anesthesia staff in the care of patients. Learns supervisory responsibility for the department daily by observing the Anesthesia Tech Manager or designee. Required maintenance of all skill sets with yearly validation of competencies by the Manager or Clinical Educator, the Anesthesia Technician 2 will perform all duties and obligations associated with call and meet all of the departmental and hospital policy requirements.
