Job description

The Residential Dorm Supervisor is responsible for collaborating with the Milieu Director to foster and support a strength-based and collaborative culture with both staff and students. The Residential Dorm Supervisor oversees the day-to-day functioning of their assigned dormitory of 8-11 youth and supports supervision for Residential Counselors in conjunction with the Milieu Director. Fosters an environment that supports the physical and psychological safety of all. How You'll Be Making a Difference - Trains and evaluates staff performance, both formally and informally, and documents supervisions. Works directly with the Milieu Director on any necessary disciplinary actions and terminations. - Implements agency and program policies and procedures. - Ensures group and student living spaces are orderly and therapeutic. This includes all necessary signage is posted and bulletin boards are refreshed. - Oversees that day-to-day programming is being implemented with fidelity including but not limited to ADLs, social calls, and checklist completion. - Supports new staff training by ensuring orientation schedules are followed.
