Job description

NOTE: This posting is for a full-time, remote position within the United States. Prior US Commercial Nuclear experience and high-level knowledge of ANSYS is required. POSITION SUMMARY: Applies technical knowledge, insight, reasoning, and decision making to perform civil structural analyses and design of Nuclear Safety-Related and Non-Safety-Related structures. Candidates should possess a strong design background and be proficient in structural concrete and steel analysis and design. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: CORE COMPETENCIES: To perform the job successfully, the individual should demonstrate competencies in performing the essential functions of this position by performing satisfactorily in each of these competencies. - Uses structural engineering tools and implements appropriate standards to design Nuclear Safety-Related and Non-Safety-Related structures including post-processing analytical results and designing structures for various material types (concrete, steel, etc ). - Interacts with other disciplines and structural engineering consultants in an effort to allow effective coordination of design activities and resolution of technical problems.
