Description Position Summary: Responsible for providing housekeeping services by performing cleaning tasks of hotel guestrooms and public areas per quality control standards for cleanliness. Essential Functions: - Provides courteous housekeeping services for guests. - Washes and sanitizes bathroom floors, tubs, sinks, showers, and commodes. - Makes beds in neat wrinkle-free condition including roll-a ways, cribs, and sleepers. - Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas. - Confirms all appliances are operational and set property such as clocks, radios, televisions, and lighting. - Carries linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts. - Empties wastebaskets, empties and cleans ashtrays, and transports other trash and waste to disposal areas. - Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. - Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. - Dusts and polishes furniture and equipment. - Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and/or polishes floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. - Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered fur...
