Lab Technician - 3rd Shift

Company Description: Mountville Rubber Company is a custom rubber mixing business that provides internal and external customers with 45 million pounds of un-cured rubber across several industries from two manufacturing facilities in Lagrange, GA. Annual sales in 2023 totaled $60,000,000. Qualifications: - Conduct inspections and/or tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards. - Use various testing equipment and methods, including tensile strength, MDR, durometer, and other tests specific to rubber products. - Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, troubleshoot defects, and implement corrective actions. - Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with company, policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. - High School Diploma or equivalent - 3-5 years manufacturing experience in a manufacturing or quality role required; 2+yrs experience in quality control, preferable in manufacturing environment preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to read and interpret technical specifications and test standards. - Excellent communication skills and atte...
