Job description
Key Responsibilities: - Provide assessment, case management, crisis intervention and supportive counselling to Holocaust survivors and their families using trauma-informed care and geriatric social worker practices - Assess changing client needs and develop tailored interventions. - Assist clients in accessing government programs, healthcare and community services - Develop case plans and assist in applying for restitution claims, working with relevant agencies like the Claims Conference. - Conduct intake assessments, eligibility interviews and program applications - Maintain knowledge of specialized services for Holocaust survivors, including HSEAP, Restitution programs, and Café Europa. - Collaborate with community partners to ensure seamless service delivery. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with the Agency and Claims Conference guidelines. - Assist in mentoring and support cross-organizational efforts. - Advocate for client access to services and represent the Agency's mission and values. - Participate in research and evaluation programs related to Holocaust Survivor services. - Perform other duties as assigned What You Will Bring: If you are interested in a...
