Surveyor/Party Chief

Description Position Summary: The Survey Party Chief will assist in planning and executing proposed field survey activities including construction staking and other construction related surveys while maintaining daily survey notes. Responsibilities: - Responsible for field data collection, field calculations, using proper survey procedures and construction layout for earthworks and structural construction. - Performs accurate measurements and calculations in recording the field data using instruments and measuring devices - Drives company or personal vehicle to reach jobsites - Identifies hazardous situations and applies safety procedures and company standards - Effective communicating with Survey Manager as to progress updates, scope changes, HSSE reporting and other project impacts - Other duties as assigned Requirements: Experience/Qualifications: Physical Demands and Work Environment – ALL CRAFT AND FIELD POSITIONS WORK ENVIRONMENT - Knowledge of field survey methods and calculations. - Strong cooperative skills in working efficiently with a team. - 5+ years of survey experience including party chief experience - Technical school diploma or certificate in any related field cons...
