Job DetailsJob Location: Palmdale Office - Palmdale, CA 93551Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $22.50 - $22.50 HourlyPosition Summary: The Case Manager provides support for children and adults participating in the APSS program by connecting them with resources, helping them navigate the adoption process, and assisting with meeting or finding resources to meet their needs while in the program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include: Conduct intake process for newly referred children or adults. Accesses community-based resources appropriate to the family’s needs. Interfaces with Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Mental Health, court systems, schools, health care providers and other community liaisons. Assists family with developing a needs/strength assessment. Provides support and advocacy which are family-centered, community and strength-based. Provide Adoption-Focused parenting education for adults pursuing adopting a child through the APSS program.
