About the Role The role of the License Practical Nurse (LPN ) a t US Urology Partners is to provide administrative and clinical support to the providers of the practice. The LP N must be able to work independently as well as interact as part of a team , consistently demonstrating re spect and professionalism to fellow staff members. What You’ll Be Doing: The LP N directs assigned provider patient schedule throughout the day. Responsible for medication/script line. Re-directs the message to the RN, PA/ NP or provider if any clinical assessments need to be made on the patient’s behalf. Responsible for completing, in a timely manner, all company t raining and in - services, including but not limited to annual OSHA training and PPD placements. Prepares room & equipment for office procedures assist ing provi der s with office procedures to carry out clinical care including preparing the patient for their appointment. After proper identification of the patient by full name and birthdate, the LP N will greet patients in the waiting area and escort them to the clinical care area for which their appointment is scheduled.
