Job Summary: Germantown Hardware is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Nursery Associate to join our Garden Center team. This position is responsible for assisting customers with plants, gardening supplies, and outdoor products while maintaining a healthy and organized nursery environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, has a passion for plants and gardening, and provides excellent customer service. Job Description / Responsibilities: Assist customers with selecting plants, flowers, soil, fertilizer, and gardening supplies. Provide basic knowledge and recommendations on plant care, watering, planting, and maintenance. Receive, unload, and stock plant shipments and garden center merchandise. Water plants and maintain the health and appearance of nursery inventory. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe garden center and outdoor nursery area. Help load plants, mulch, soil, and other garden materials for customers. Monitor plant inventory and report damaged or unhealthy plants. Operate registers or assist with checkout when needed.
