Job description

Implement Occupational Therapy treatment programs for referred patients under the general supervision of a registered and licensed occupational therapist. Follow hospital and department approved policies related to documentation, attendance, education, etc. Show respect and courtesy to all staff, patients and visitors. 1. Evaluation: Conducts screenings and assessments of patients of various age categories in accordance with established protocols and under the supervision of a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist. 2. Documentation: Adheres to hospital/department policies. Documentation is timely and legible. Complies with all pertinent regulatory standards. Accurate and timely completion of charging documents. Assumes a leadership role in assuring that all documentation is co-signed by an OTR. 3. Treatment: Implements the established treatment plan in collaboration with the OTR. Delivers care in a professional and customer oriented manner. Adheres to department safety standards. Utilizes updated treatment techniques. Collaborates with the OTR in discharge planning. 4.
