Associate Professor - Pharmacology - ( 2502532 ) Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology and the Sealy Center in Environmental Health and Medicine at the UTMB invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate level, for an independent investigator with training and experience in molecular toxicology or related fields focused on the impact of environmental agents on human disease. The individual should have experience in the molecular mechanisms in toxicology involving high-priority or emerging environmental exposures associated with adverse human health outcomes. Priority will be given to candidates whose research focuses on the intersection of environmental factors and disease risk, particularly in relation to neurodegenerative diseases, neurodevelopmental disorders, or other chronic conditions such as metabolic and cardiovascular diseases.
