Senior Analyst, FP&A, Music Publishing Deal Analysis

Job description

You’ll join the Music Publishing Deal Analysis team within FP&A, where we partner closely with Licensing, Legal, and Finance to shape the economics behind Spotify’s music business. This team plays a key role in evaluating and structuring publishing deals that support creators while ensuring long-term sustainability for Spotify. You’ll work at the intersection of music, data, and strategy, helping translate complex agreements into clear financial insights that guide decision-making. What You'll Do: - Partner with Licensing, Accounting, and Legal teams to evaluate global and regional music publishing deals - Build and maintain financial models to assess deal economics, including scenario and sensitivity analysis - Translate contract terms into clear financial insights and materials to support decision-making - Track and develop KPIs to evaluate deal performance and long-term cost impact - Collaborate with Finance, Data, Engineering, and Product teams to support deal implementation and strategy - Communicate financial risks and opportunities to stakeholders and leadership in a clear, actionable way - Support ongoing deal operations, including amendments, renewals, and new rights categ...
